John Deere Model Year 25 6M Series Has Arrived
The updated 6M Tractor lineup expands its versatility to provide eighteen models ranging from 95 hp up to 250 hp and five frame sizes from 2400 mm (94 in.) to 2900 mm (114 in.). The new 6M portfolio allows customers to perfectly build the right tractor to match the needs of their operation. With a 10% power bulge and Intelligent Power Management delivering up to an additional 20 horsepower, the new 6M is ready to go to work. These new additions carry on the high levels of durability and performance.
New Styling (Series/HP)
The model year 2025 6M Tractors feature updated styling along with new name and numbering that is aligned with the 6R, 7R, 8R and 9R Tractors. The new 6M Tractors feature the tractor series listed separately from the rated engine horsepower.
New HP & Transmission Options
Customers want to get their work done quickly. Based on customer feedback, the new 6M Tractors offers new 50km/h capability in the AutoQuadTM, CommandQuadTM and AutoPowrTM/IVTTM Transmissions. In addition John Deere has expanded the AutoPowrTM Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVTTM) to all 6M tractors. The John Deere AutoPowrTM/IVTTM utilizes a combination of mechanical and hydrostatic power, providing stepless and continuous power across an infinitely variable range of speeds. A single-speed lever is used for intuitive and accurate control of ground speeds as slow as 50 m/h (0.03 mph) up to 30/40/50 km/h (19/25/31 mph) depending upon the model of 6M.
Intelligent Power Management (IPM)
Gain more productivity and efficiency through Intelligent Power Management (IPM). Standard in all 6Ms, IPM provides a 14.9-kW (20-hp) boost for many typical operations that use rear power take-off (PTO) in high-power applications or in transport. Producers looking for more power in non-stationary PTO and transport applications will take full advantage of this feature. An optional Hydraulic IPM features is also available to deliver IPM power in hydraulically driven applications.
New Cornerpost Display
The cornerpost display features state-of-the-art electronic instrumentation and blends well with the narrow right-hand cab post. In addition to displaying machine information, the cornerpost display also serves as the primary interface between the tractor and operator when adjusting hitch, transmission, hydraulic, and engine settings.
NOTE: AutoTracTM now requires a Universal Display as basic AutoTracTM is no longer available via new cornerpost display.
Dual Wheel Configurations and Larger Tire Capacity
Get better flotation and stability with duals wheels or larger single tires. All 6-cylinder 6M Tractors can now be configured with dual wheels or larger singles (including sizes up to 710/70R42 and 800/70R38) from the factory.
